What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– I think it was nearly every little step of the photographic process. From creating a scene, the shutter click, darkroom, to the final result. Every part of it feels like somewhat of a surprise, I feel no matter how much you imagine a shot; the camera always captures something perfectly unexpected.

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– My inspiration stems from combining emotions and other subjects from everyday life with fashion.

What do you most like to photograph?
– Fashion and fine art. Whether I'm shooting a portrait or a fashion campaign, I love turning everything into a story. I love creating images that lets the viewer know there is something going on, and that it's not just a pretty picture.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– I admire are Cindy Sherman, Tim Walker, Steven Meisel, David LaChapelle, Miles Aldridge, Ruven Afanador, Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Man Ray (he was a great overall artist), Annie Leibovitz, the list goes on and on...
