What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– From as far back as I can remember, I often felt visually intoxicated by the vibrancy of the world that surrounded me. Ultimately, the mediums of photography & video would allow me to capture that intensity of visual experience.

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– Urban people in large, vibrant, cosmopolitan cities + ruggedly rural folk... their faces, their attitude, their style… simple little things, like the effortless flow of clothing, the tilt of a hat, or unique eyewear can grab my attention… and ignite visual inspiration within me.

What do you most like to photograph?
– People - with a focus on uniquely urban & rural people... I draw inspiration from their natural dynamism.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– Man Ray, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Diane Arbus, Jeanloup Sieff, Mick Rock, Nick Knight, William Klein, Ellen Von Unwerth, and oh so many more...
