What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– Photography is a practice of art through which the entire world can be visualized differently through a lens. It is limitless and is a vehicle for encapsulating the world as we see it. Having always looked at things from different perspectives, photography has provided a wonderful outlet for me.

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– Inspiration comes from everyday life, but mostly from people and objects closest to me. I personify lots of inanimate things and draw from those emotions. When I see something that strikes an emotional chord, that's when the best photographs come about.

What do you most like to photograph?
– People in a candid state. I love capturing raw emotions. Heavily produced pieces are wonderful as well, but the emotion must be genuine and fluid. If the photograph is lifeless, regardless of how technically perfect it is, it's not a good photograph.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– Leibovitz, Stieglitz, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Demarchelier, Avedon, Meisel, Chen Man
