What interested you about becoming
a photographer?
– I have been in love with arts since I was born. My mother, an artist herself and Professor of History of Arts.
My father, a former italian football SERIE A photoreporter, allowed me to play with his Nikon F4's and F5's film cameras, and I fell in love with photography.
Where do you find inspiration to
make your photographs?
– I remember telling my school teachers that I wanted to be a traveller, I loved geography and languages.
Photography and drawing allowed me to better study nature, humans and his action and history.
My inspiration comes from research, and the passion I pour into it.
What do you most like to
photograph?
– My guts know, I really don't.
Who are your favorite photographers?
– Fan Ho, Moriyama, Araki, Cartier-Bresson, Salgado, Erwitt, Newton, Meyerowicz, Winogrand, I could go on for two days.
Lately I'm very much into Man Ray and Oliviero Toscani, but really I appreciate a lot from a lot of people, because it brings better inspiration.
