What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– I am attracted by the possibility of expressing myself and my feelings through the camera. Photography allows me to spend long time in analysing a subject, looking for different perspectives and through different filters and lenses, meanwhile performing a parallel voyage within myself.

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– From a sky with uneven clouds, from the timeless beauty of an abandoned place, from the perturbing contrasts of industrial sites, from the symmetry in modern architecture...from the quietness of an old lady descending staircases, from the bashfulness of a blooming flower.

What do you most like to photograph?
– I love architecture photography, probably influenced by my former studies in Engineering and Architecture. I like to discover symmetries, harmonies amongst lines and shapes, light contrasts.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– I love the colours of Steve McCurry and his emotional portraits. I love the black and white of Henry Cartier-Bresson and his research of the “decisive moment”.
