What interested you about becoming
a photographer?
– Sheer passion, ever since I was a child it has given me energy and perspective.
The fact that my father is a photographer has certainly been a contributing factor, photography has alway been part of my life..
Where do you find inspiration to
make your photographs?
– In my childhood memories, in my dreams and in my imagination. I can usually clearly visualise pictures before I shoot them: they sometimes “appear before my eyes” in the form of dresses, places, artwork, books, movies or lights.. Emotions define the final style.
What do you most like to
photograph?
– What I am interested in the most is fashion, but I love communicating through images and I strive to create picture that evoke feelings, emotions and ideas.
Who are your favorite photographers?
– Guy Bourdin, Tim Walker, Miles Aldridge and many others.
I think that every shooting and every shot has its own character. For this reason, I admire Steven Meisel's eclecticism. I think he mainly wants to surprise himself and this could be a sufficient purpose for all arts.
