What interested you about becoming
a photographer?
– Risking to sound rhetorical, I am interested in photography because of photography. I cannot think of a fairer reason.
Where do you find inspiration to
make your photographs?
– Much of my work reflects a strong connection with dance, as long as I have studied ballet from the age of 7 and have continued to do so throughout my life.
So, yes, dance and dancers are constantly a great source of inspiration to me.
What do you most like to
photograph?
– Human beings.
Naked bodies.
Dancers.
Who are your favorite photographers?
– I think that studying other people's work is the best way to nourish both the mind and one's creative skills.
Among the many, I can point out some easy names like Irina Ionescu, Mapplethorpe, Man Ray, Annie Leibovitz, Mario Testino and so on...
