What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– Nothing is predestined. I started photography out of the clear blue sky when I had no direction in my life, whatsoever. I have never looked back ever since. Photography helps me to release some of the emotions I carry inside and not necessarily the negative ones!

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– The fear of the unknown. Still, my inspiration mostly comes from films, music videos and dreams, but also I'm easily influenced by the Italian Renaissance, life and death, awe and wonder, paranormal phenomena, and anything beyond the range of normal experience or scientific explanation.

What do you most like to photograph?
– People, yet most of the time women. Fashion, fine art and editorial. I'm obsessed with creating images where the key elements are artistic exploration, joy, self-discovery, breaking the rules and new challenges.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– Jan Saudek, Julia Margaret Cameron and Joel-Peter Witkin but obviously nothing beats and never will The Old Masters, of course!
