What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– Photographies are the mean by which I can comunicate my personal and intimate view on people, places, and events. Photography is a powerful tool for re-viewing the very concept of reality in a metaphysical and surrealistic key.

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– My photography is a lot about sudden inspiration and improvisation. Nevertheless, my view over the world has been affected by several "dreamers" like David Lynch, David Cronenberg, and Federico Fellini, with their ability to transmit the distinct and uncomfortable feeling of not being really awake.

What do you most like to photograph?
– I don't have any particular specialization. I like shooting portraits which tell dream-like stories; I like shooting places which seem daydream scenarios; and I like shooting surrealistic concepts in my studio.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– Josef Koudelka, Elliot Erwitt, Jonas Bendiksen, Alessandra Sanguinetti, Mary Ellen Mark, Mark Power, Richard Avedon, Erwin Olaf, Mario Giacomelli, René Burri
