What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– Ever since I've been a very visual person. After having passed my A-Levels I studied Business Management and Political Science, but photography has always been my passion. I think every photographer comes to the point that you don't need to become a photographer but to realize that you are one.

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– I find my inspiration in paintings but also in modern art and contemporary street culture. My family and friends also have a great impact on my photographs. However it is very difficult to locate my source of inspiration as sometimes you find it in something or someone you've at least expected.

What do you most like to photograph?
– Richard Avedon once stated: "My photographs are more about me than they are about the people I photograph." This is also my credo for being a photographer. Therefore I prefer taking photos of people rather than buildings and landscapes.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– Among many others my favorite photographers are Richard Avedon, Terrie Richardson, Helmut Newton, Paolo Roversi, Camilla Akrans, Mario Testino and Alexi Lubimorski.
