What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– Photography is a form of writing with light. Photographing for me is a form of communication and artistic expression. I like to tell the real stories through photography capturing the emotional intensity of the moment and freeze it forever.

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– My inspiration is fueled by everything around me in which I recognize a particular depth of meaning. Suddenly the subject, colors, shadows and framing allows me to view the photo as a painting. I am very inspired especially during my travels to new places.

What do you most like to photograph?
– I like to photograph situations. I like to tell stories that highlight a reality that normally escapes the normal powers of observation. I like to document and share what I can see to those who are not accustomed to observe, with the intention to raise awareness and to break the common stereotypes.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– I have no particular references in respect of famous photographers. I prefer not to tie myself to a particular style but I prefer to feel free to appreciate any work of art, even if produced by an unknown photographer. I can only mention the one who approached me to photo reportage: Sergio Ramazzotti.
