What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– Photography has such an incredible range of "connectedness" that really intrigues me. The subject can be completely disconnected from the viewer or intimately close. I'm constantly compelled to discover and push that range.

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– Everywhere. The more immersed I become in the art of photography, the more I analyze everything around me. My inspiration comes from the most mundane sources to the most explosive and unexpected.

What do you most like to photograph?
– Creating. Just, creating.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– Benjamin Kanarek, traditionally. Actually, a discussion with him gave me my biggest "A HA!" moment. My father as well. As the son of a master photographer/print maker photography has always been a part of my life and I don't regret any of it's influence in my life.
