What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– My father, without question, stimulated my interest in Photography. Looking at his wonderful family photographs and his visual record of life around him, instilled in me the desire to follow in his footsteps.

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– My inspiration is found in the life around me; culture, nature and natural beauty provide the source. My interpretation of what I see is the materials that I use, as a painter may use his brushes and oils.

What do you most like to photograph?
– I particularly like to photograph the natural environment and architecture. People too can be wonderful subjects, especially when photographed candidly in a photo-journalistic manner.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– Don McCullin, Alexander Gardner, Robert Frank, Robert Capa, Eugène Atget, Annie Leibovitz.
