What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– When I was 11 my dad bought me my first camera for our first trip overseas together. This encouragement I received from my dad to express myself creatively inspired me to take photographs not only when I travel, but also at home. For me my father has always been my main source of inspiration.

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– I find inspiration in natural phenomenons, I take photographs of a scene in many different ways, imagining that there is a narrative behind this moment I am capturing. The best photo, for me, is the one that best portrays this story I have imagined.

What do you most like to photograph?
– As a natural scientist my life has taken me to many different places and I have always lived my life by the beach; the marine environment is a source of creative inspiration for me. I enjoy photographing natural and manmade occurrences including seascapes, landscapes, wildlife, and human interaction.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– Steve McCurry, Frans Lanting, Michael Yamashita, Chris Johns, Art Wolfe, Ken Duncan, Bruce Percy, Ian Cameron, Charlie Waite, Micheal Kenna, Josef Hoflehner, Olivier Follmi, Fulvio Roiter, Franco Fontana.
