What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– I became interested in photography at a very young age from the moment I laid my hands on a box camera that my mother gave me. She had received it as one of her wedding presents.

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– I seek inspiration from situations that present themselves in daily life. Certain juxtapositions of elements strike a chord, which I try to capture. I also seek inspiration from striking images of other photographers to see how I can capture it differently.

What do you most like to photograph?
– Almost anything.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– Ansel Adams, Edward Weston and more recently Joe Cornish and Ruud van Empel.
