What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– Actually, I'm an architect. An architect fond of contemporary architecture. When I was traveling to learn about new architecture built by the most important architects I needed to capture what I saw, that particular moment, light, shadows... Then I picked up a camera and begin to shoot.

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– I have to feel something about what I'm seeing, it's not enough if I like the color, the texture of the objects. I have to feel the atmosphere of the moment and the challenge is to include it in the image

What do you most like to photograph?
– At first I only had eyes for contemporary architecture: Frank O.Gehry, Jean Nouvel, Zaha Hadid, Renzo Piano. Later I started to see in a new way people, landscapes, the rain, children. And this contributes to enrich my eyes and my personal vision.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– So so many ! Julius Shulman, Berengo Gardin, Elliot Erwitt, Gordon Parks, Sergio Larrein, Francesca Woodman, Ernst Haas, Maurizio Galimberti, Luigi Ghirri, Matteo Cirenei, Luca Campigotto, Steve McCurry, Erwin Olaf, Steven Meisel, Bruce Weber, Giovanni Gastel, Annie Leibovitz, HCB, Olivo Barbieri
