What interested you about becoming a photographer?
– I am originally a filmmaker, but I found that in order to make a moving image you need many people and a big production to make things happen. In photography, you can make the magic happen with very little resources, and that gives you great freedom to express yourself as an artist.

Where do you find inspiration to make your photographs?
– Everywhere. But I admire very much classical painters. I also love old things, they can spark my imagination like nothing else.

What do you most like to photograph?
– People in fantastic dreamscapes. If I had more resources I would rent antiques and period costumes to make very flamboyant productions.

Who are your favorite photographers?
– First and foremost, Eugenio Recuenco. Erwin Olaf, Paolo Ventura, Steven Meisel, Charles Eisenmann, Joel Peter Witkin
