What interested you about becoming
– I realized I wanted to become a photographer one day when I thought about the way that I see things, and the world. My perception seemed to fit in to photographs perfectly. I knew the way I saw things was different than other people, and that is exactly when I realized I wanted to be a photographer.
Where do you find inspiration to
make your photographs?
– I find inspiration through just about anything. It can be the linear aspect of a building or lines in a certain shadow, to the look on an ordinary person's face. Everything in this world can evoke emotion and contain an aesthetic composition if you look at it the right way.
What do you most like to
– I enjoy photographing people the most, candids especially. I love nothing more than capturing that precise moment in a person and how they are feeling and what is going on in their brain in that instant.
Who are your favorite photographers?
– Henri Cartier-Bresson, Diane Arbus, Herb Ritts, Julius Shulman, Edward Steichen, Daido Moriyama, Irving Penn, W. Eugene Smith, Margaret Bourke-White, Helmut Newton, Man Ray, Alfred Stieglitz, Robert Capa, Lewis Hine, Eugene Atget
